Monday to Friday (8am to 530pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D efforts focused on sustainable materials for 3D printing, including overseeing performance testing and refining process optimization.
• Conduct research on 3D printing processes, with a focus on the metallurgical properties of materials.
• Qualify new materials for 3D printing, prioritizing sustainability and environmental impact.
• Design and develop 3D printable prototypes and new products for various applications such as portable devices and medical equipment.
• Address technical challenges within 3D printing processes, including equipment maintenance and implementing enhancements for improved performance.
• Facilitate the transfer of 3D printing technology from research to production, managing pre and post-processing operations.
• Develop intellectual property and expertise in 3D printing-related subjects.
• Lead collaborative projects with research partners and internal teams to drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• PhD fresh graduate, Master's with 1-2 years of working experience, or Bachelor's with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles.
• Deep knowledge of materials science and additive manufacturing processes.
• 2-3 years of experience in the additive manufacturing industry, particularly with metal materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Expertise in various 3D printing technologies, with a preference for laser powder bed fusion.
• Familiarity with metal materials commonly used in additive manufacturing.
• Experience in setting up new 3D printing labs is preferred.
• Proficiency in Materialise Magics, with additional skills in CAE and CAD preferred.
