    Roles & Responsibilities

    Established for over 70 years, the Client is a boutique bank offering a full suite of banking services to customers worldwide. They believe in grooming their employees to become the best at what they do, and offer internal mobility opportunities.

    about the role

    • Ensure day-to-day activities of the Finance Department run smoothly
    • Assist with Head Office Reporting, Management and Financial Reporting which includes preparation of year-end Financial Statements
    • Maintain records of financial transactions such as Account Receivable, Account Payable etc when required
    • Prepare and post journal entries
    • Assist with preparation as well as review of MAS regulatory reports (MAS 610 and 649)
    • Prepare annual Budget report for operating expenses
    • Assist with taxation matters, including Corporate Tax and GST
    • Support Department Head with process improvement initiatives

    skills and experience required

    • Minimum Degree in Finance & Accounting
    • Professional certification i.e. CPA/CA, is a plus
    • At least 7 years of financial and accounting experience within the Banking industry
    • Good communications and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
