Description

Perform the duties of the Resident Engineer on site.

Act as primary point of contact for the construction supervision of the project between the contractor, client and consultant team

Project progress reporting

Quality control and design modifications

Establish an appropriate working relationship with the contractor

Build a trusted relationship with the client and consultant team

Use effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress to the Client

Monitor progress of construction against the programme and take steps to avoid delay.

Evaluate, select and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and devices and implement solutions to problems encountered.

Attend site meetings, progress meetings, design/technical meetings and meetings with statutory bodies as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a university accredited by PE Board Singapore
• Experience in full-time site supervision
• The RE shall have minimum 5 years of relevant site experience
