Description

• Seek new business opportunities in the SEA region and work as a team to develop new accounts
• Interact with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (seller and buyer) concerned
• Build and maintain a lasting relationship with customers, suppliers, and agents
• Develop a new customer portfolio with a focus on the Asia market, actively look for new customers to grow sales
• Generate trade deals, negotiate terms with related parties, and ensure completion of each trade
• Ensure proper execution of trades (physical and paper)
• Daily reconciliation of trading transactions with documents
• Preparation of trading summary reports
• Manage and report the risk of your customers' portfolio
• Work closely with the sugar team in maintaining a healthy P&L
• Liaise with the Operations and Finance department

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics /Supply Chain/Business/Shipping/International Commerce or equivalent

• Good market knowledge preferably the white sugar would be an added advantage
• Proven track records in trading strategies and commercial experience
• Knowledge of international shipping terms, hedging, the futures market
• Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Mandarin speaking is mandatory to liaise with our Chinese counterparts
• Able to travel to China & Vietnam
