    Description

    Responsibilities

    Regional Demand Planning Process Execution:

  • Leading DP Segmentation activities and ensuring the maintenance of Master Data related to Demand Planning
  • Maintaining, optimizing, and monitoring Statistical Forecast Models as the foundation for the demand forecast, when and at the level appropriate for the portfolio
  • Driving collaboration with Commercial Team to incorporate (and challenge) assumptions, Sales Forecasts, and Market Intelligence into demand forecast at the level(s) most relevant to the region/segment (e.g. customer, plant, market, region), and documenting relevant assumptions, Opportunities and Vulnerabilities. Leveraging segmentation and exception-based logic to prioritize forecast reviews.
  • Monitoring and improving key fcst perf KPIs such as Fcst Accuracy, Bias, and Fcst Value Add, supporting improved Cust. Service and SC efficiency
  • Engagement in IBP/S&OE Process:

  • Consolidating forecast data, opportunities & vulnerabilities, and related qualitative assumptions at the regional level.
  • Leading the Regional Demand Review/Sign-Off and contributing to Global Demand Reviews as way of working in Integrated Business Planning Process.
  • Participation in Regional Sales & Operations Executions Forums/Process as needed.
  • Acting as a key point of contact/communication between Segment and Supply Chain Organizations, supporting collaboration and transparency
  • Process Improvement:

    Leading, participating, and/or supporting efforts to improve maturity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the DP process and other related processes (IBP, Analytics, Advanced Planning System Upgrade, Process Excellence, etc.)

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. Major in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the APAC region
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning processes, statistical models, and forecasting tools
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demand planning software
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment is a plus.
