    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaise and assist the Contract Manager in responding to requests for quotations from prospective clients, manage and coordinate the preparation of pre-tender documentation, respond to tender clarifications and amendments, and attend tender meetings leading to the award of tenders.
    • Assist in the preparation, review, and modification of construction contracts. Ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications, and government regulations.
    • Prepare contract documents for control and implementation, review commercial aspects of contracts and agreements with clients and sub-contractors, and assist in the preparation of monthly progress payments to ensure successful claims.
    • Attend site meetings with project staff as required, and assist the Contract/Project Manager in the preparation of variation orders, maintaining comprehensive records on work alterations, design amendments, and project cost monitoring.
    • Liaise closely with Main Contractors and Client's Q/S regarding claims, negotiate claims, and work towards the finalization of accounts.
    • Assist in preparing budgets and cash flow projections in conjunction with Directors, Project Managers, and Financial Controller. Monitor project costs and prepare general financial administration reports, including cost history for contract negotiation and budgeting.
    • Negotiate sub-contractor packages and prepare sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters.
    • Analyze the scope of work in projects and contracts for effective administration, in conjunction with the interpretation of architectural and shop drawings. Report on various financial and contract-related metrics to management.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Diploma in Civil / Construction Engineering / Quantity Surveying or equivalent
    • At least 4 years of relevant contracts experience in the civil constructions industry, with QS experience.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
