Job Role

• The Head of Home is responsible for the overall management of the Home's operational needs and complying with the regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall supervision, control and discipline of staff
• Perform strategic planning for effective running of the Home within the Management's policy and keeping abreast with current trends
• Ensures up-to-date records, documentations and administration
• Maintains the residents' personal files and ensure their well-being
• Responsible for the management of the Home's budget
• Furnish the Management regularly with progress reports, strategic plans and programme updates
• Close liaison with the law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centres, HDB, welfare homes, Management Committee and other related agencies.
• To support PERTAPIS Headquarters and inter-departmental initiatives by planning deployment for events and fundraising projects.

Requirements

• Minimum degree, preferably in social work or psychology, or equivalent
• Min. 3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of basic IT (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Good interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written)
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
