Job Description

Guides junior educators in creating a secure and quality learning enviroment for children, and models respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them. Proficient in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and programmes to support the learning and developmental needs of the children.

Establish relationships and partnerships with families and community stakeholders to provide a holistic care and development for yound children. Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice, and contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration and collegiality with relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to Centre curricula frameworks.
• Foster relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and the Centre.
• Develop outreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services.
• Guide routine caregiving practices in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Propose improvements to professional development and service quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• EY2 certified or Advanced Certificate in Early Years
• Min 5 years experience in early childhood education (Playgroup and Pre-Nursery)
• Passionate, committed and dedicated
• Preferably living in Punggol and Sengkang areas.
