    Description

    Ang Mo Kio Town Centre, North-East RegionYou will lead the Group's financial and management reporting function responsible for the financial and management accounting, reporting and consolidation of Venture's group accounts, compliance with SGX listing rules requirements, negative assurance compliance and reporting deadlines.

    You are also responsible for the maintenance of Group finance policies to ensure compliance with SFRS(I) accounting principles.

    Perform management analysis of the group performance against forecast/budget and review of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and working capital.

    You will be a finance business partner to the Senior Management team on all financial issues, including evaluation of potential business opportunities and manage a range of ad-hoc projects.


    Responsibilities :


    Responsible for the monthly review of the group's performance with effective analysis of the income statement including revenue, gross margins and cost management.

    Responsible for financial tracking, forecasting and review of the group's performance against approved financial plan.
    Support benchmarking of the group's financial and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
    Perform balance sheet review of the group's subsidiaries to ensure appropriate accounting treatment has been consistently applied.
    Responsible for reviewing capital investment proposals to ensure that required Return-on- Investment are achieved.
    Ensure timely management reporting, forecasting and analysis.
    Lead the group's annual budgeting exercise.
    Project Management & System ImplementationLead project team to drive Group Finance's system digitalization and transformation initiatives.

    Project management of various systems implementation projects across for group entities to track progress in accordance timeline and resolving issues to ensure smooth implementationManage various stakeholder groups including Group IT, external consultants, finance and other users to manage key project communications.

    Review relevant finance processes and workflow for improvement, streamlining and harmonization.
    Recommend best practices and creative solutions to improve overall organization efficiency and effectiveness.
    Report to steering committee on the project progress, milestones, issues and recommendations.
    Team ManagementMotivate and lead the staff in enhancing their skills and capabilities.
    Ad-hoc financial assignments as required by CFO and management team.


    Requirements :


    Possess a Degree in Accountancy / Professional qualification with ACCA / CIMA / CPA.Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience preferably in manufacturing environment.

    With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a management reporting at managerial capacity, relevant Group Financials experience in a SGX listed company.

    SAP or other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage.
    Possess strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
    Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
    Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently.
    Mature and strong team player with ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good presentation skills.
    Hands-on, meticulous, resourceful, positive and energetic with initiative and excellent motivational skills.
    Good leadership qualities, ambitious and go-getter attitude.
