- Lead in fine powder project development, inclusive of new product/ equipment/ part/ process / raw material.
- Understand project requirement and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure meeting the timeline for each stage gate exit.
- Execute product/process/application development projects with experimental design methodology using available tools to enable best solution (Powder & Paste).
- Identify and initiate innovative ideas for product/process/application improvement leading to project success (Powder & Paste).
- Draft and plan executable timeline and methodology for projects assigned and prepare regular updates to management on project progress.
- Support internal and external customers on development, quality, technical and failure analysis requests.
- Prepare and present technical presentations/reports for internal and external events/conferences.
- Minimum Degree in Materials Science or Materials Technology
- Hands on experience and knowledge with metal and other assembly materials in electronic packages.
- Detail understanding of metallurgical microstructure and interaction between metals and alloys particularly alloys using in electronic packages.
- Relevant other assembly materials product development or experience in electronic packages is also welcome.
- Experienced in project management, Design for Six Sigma and DOE methodology is a plus.
- Analytical skill in materials characterization and failure investigation using SEM/EDAX, surface analysis and in-depth material characterization. Statistical Data analysis skill set on data to provide possible solutions.
- Work Location: Pioneer (company transport provided)
- Monday to Friday: 8.15am to 5.15pm
