Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing the foundational layers of our blockchain infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and implementing Layer 1 protocols, consensus mechanisms, and performance enhancements to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our blockchain network.

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Layer Protocols: Architect, implement, and optimize Layer 1 protocols to enhance the performance, security, and functionality of our blockchain network.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, conduct research, and propose innovative solutions to address scalability, interoperability, and security challenges at the protocol level.
Consensus Mechanisms: Collaborate with the team to design and implement robust consensus mechanisms, ensuring network integrity and fault tolerance.
Identify performance bottlenecks and devise strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of the Layer 1 infrastructure.
Security and Auditing: Implement best practices for security and conduct regular code audits to ensure the integrity and resilience of the blockchain system against potential threats and attacks.
Collaborate with other teams, including smart contract developers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers, to integrate Layer 1 solutions into our DApps seamlessly.
Documentation: Create clear and concise technical documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain the quality of the codebase.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of blockchain technology and protocols, with a focus on Layer 1. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Rust, or Go.
Proven experience in designing and implementing Layer 1 protocols and consensus mechanisms in a production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the ability to adapt to emerging trends and technologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Active participation in the blockchain community, open-source contributions, and a passion for decentralized technologies.
Be able to communicate - verbally and written form with Team-members, Management and Company Leaders who are from China.
