Core Responsibilities:

Operations Matters

  • Ensure all Operational KPIs and Safety & Security standards in ALL terminals are met/complied during shift duty.
  • Plan and roster Supervisors and Airport Service Officers (ASO) shift duties to ensure that the daily baseline is met.
  • Ensure adequate manpower and resources (trolleys services, lightweight machine operators, communication equipment) are available for proper functioning of the Terminal.
  • Ensure daily key activities are conducted, e.g Hotspot checks, trolleys transfers and porter services.
  • Encourage and compile compliments to meet company's Service Quality target.
  • Lead manpower and resource requirement planning for peak period(s) in assigned terminal.
  • Conduct investigation on reported incident/accident, followed with implementing new processes and controls measures (if applicable).
  • To be the Project Lead for assigned projects, from planning, implementation (during Project Phase) to process update & stakeholder Management (Operational Phase).
Admin Matters

  • Administer about 4080 direct reports' Attendance, Leave, Discipline and Welfare of assigned terminal(s).
  • Administer Absentee / OT reports for payroll verification.
  • Administer direct reports' performance for Quarterly Incentives.
  • Ensure Office premises are well maintained with updated Notice and Deployment boards.
  • Ensure Policies, Processes and important Information are disseminated to all direct reports.
  • Staff engagement and grievance handling.
Equipment & Training

  • Ensure all equipment allocated are well maintained in terms of serviceability and cleanliness.
  • Ensure key appointments, e.g. equipment operators, are sufficient and competent.
  • Conduct regular coaching session with direct reports.
Client Management

  • Response to clients' service call promptly within 10mins during shift duty.
  • Build good rapport and establish cordial working relationship with client and other airport business partners.

Periodic Duties:


  • To perform covering Terminal Management Centre (TMC) duties, if required.
  • To cover Terminal Supervisor duties, if required.
  • Attend quarterly/monthly management meetings on performance review and business/operations updates.
  • Lead business development and/or operations/service improvement projects when assigned.

Job Specifications (Qualifications/Experiences):


  • Degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized university preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in airport terminal operations or operations management.
  • Familiarity with Changi Airport terminal operations will be an added advantage.
  • Project Management skills is an added advantage
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Adaptable to change and a good team player.
  • Able to work on Shift Duty.
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Able to obtain an Airport Pass (Airside)
