- Definition and development of SCOR's Risk Management frameworks (eg Risk Appetite, Monitoring of risk exposure, ALM, liquidity frameworks, Internal Control System...)
- Effective operation of Risk Management activities, ensuring a consistent approach across all SCOR entities in scope

- Identify and monitor local risks and trends, including market development, claim trends, legal and regulatory evolutions
- Promptly report risks and trends, discuss and address with the broader Risk Coverage team
- Participate or lead analyses of trends, risks or exposure relevant to APAC, for local entities or for the Group executive committee and Board
- Monitor external risks (e.g. economic risks) and potential impacts (e.g. on solvency reporting) and communication to regulators/ supervisory authorities on risk matters.

- Organize and manage a community of risk stakeholders including legal entity CROs
- Promote and maintain risk culture in close proximity with the other local departments
- Contribute to relevant business processes in order to support adequate business decisions in view of risks, e.g. by conducting risk roundtables/workgroups, specific analyses etc
- University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a comparable field. Qualified actuary or equivalent quantitative background.
- At least 15 years practical experience in (re)insurance with a focus in Life and Health ideally in the APAC region.
- Understanding of insurance or reinsurance products and markets in APAC across Property and Casualty, Life and Health
- Ability to understand underlying risk within insurance products and reinsurance structures, as well as financial and operational risks. Ability to develop mitigation strategies
- Solid experience in risk analyses
- Good understanding of the principles of risk and capital.
- Strong people and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to challenge and build consensus
- Ability to forge constructive relations across the various SCOR entities
- Ability to identify and summarise the main issues in a clear, unambiguous and simple language adapted to technical or non-technical audiences
