Roles & ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
This is an independent contributor role , reporting to Senior Manager in Singapore and matrix reporting to team in Europe.
Crew planning: Coordinate with manning agencies for crew recruitment, planning and mobilization and selecting crew members in collaboration with the Technical Superintendent. Liaise with HQ on APAC crew matters, coordinate crew changes in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia. Track and oversee global crew changes in the most economical way.
Crew Coordination: Coordinating crew changes and ensuring smooth sign on and sign off processes. Managing crew documentation including visas, passports, and medical certificates. Start briefings for the on-signing personnel and handle pertinent internal and external communications. Track and oversee global crew changes in the most economical way. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth crewing operations
Crew Admin: Managing crew documentation including visas, passports, and medical certificates. Maintaining crew records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain in-house personnel management system - Workday and AX. Ensure crew certificates are complying with MLC 2006 requirements. Conduct vessel visits to ensure shipboard operations and crew living conditions are in full compliance with Maritime Labor Convention, addressing any concerns of crew. Handle crew disciplinary issues and solve disputes.
Crew payroll: Handling crew payroll, compensation, and benefits
Training : Liaise with training department and manning agencies for training arrangement. Record and analyst crew evaluations.
