    [What the role is]

IMDA's vision is to build a dynamic digital economy, and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional Infocomm and Media ecosystem.
In line with Singapore's social compact, IMDA seeks to help every citizen (from the young to the old) thrive in the digital age, and feel that he or she can engage in activities online in a safe, inclusive and empowering way. IMDA works actively with the public, people and private sectors (3P) to Dream, Design and Deliver so as to strengthen the digital dimension of Singapore's social compact, or Singapore's digital future.

This way, no citizen will be left behind and we can move forward as one nation.

If you have the passion to work with 3P to strengthen our social compact in an increasingly digital age, and the needed skills or experience, do approach us to explore further.

Part of the Strategic Planning and Digital Readiness Group in IMDA, the SG Digital Office seeks to drive the Government's initiatives to accelerate digital adoption in our community, as we embark on a phased recovery post COVID-19.

You will be part of a dynamic team, which aims to grow and sustain business development opportunities (both internal and external to Government) to support the acceleration of digital adoption in our community. As part of the planning-operations continuum, this position will translate the establishment of partnerships to the development of campaign plans for operational implementation and will report to the Lead for the Partnership & Programme team.

What you will be working on

  • Develop and maintain SDO's volunteer management framework that harmonises ground needs with contributions from corporate and community partners, as well as tracks contributions.
  • Devise training programmes and volunteer journeys for varying contribution capacities to foster volunteer growth and continued participation/contribution.
  • Develop recognition platforms that validate and inspire sustained volunteer contribution.
  • Identify and seek new partnerships that support the business priorities of the office, as well as grow existing partnerships to foster more meaningful collaborations.
  • Formulate campaign plans arising from partnerships for operational implementation, working in-tandem with the Operations Planning team.
  • Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee management reporting for key decision making and follow-through.
  • What we are looking for

  • Preferred tertiary background related (but not limited to) business management, operations research, sociology, psychology or communications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience (or 8-10 years for Senior Manager)
  • Strong account management or people skills with demonstrated ability to effectively engage a wide spectrum of stakeholder levels, instincts for systems thinking, data driven approach and acumen to pivot when the need arises.
  • A self-motivator and master of presentation/written skills who is comfortable with ambiguity, sense of urgency and a knack for quick turnaround would be a given.
  • The position offered will be commensurate with experience.

Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
