IT Support Specialist - Singapore - JMC CAPITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to support the Singapore office Information Technology needs. As a pivotal member of our management team, he/she will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all IT-related activities across our group of companies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our IT infrastructure, systems, and processes align with our business objectives and facilitate our growth and success.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ooverall responsibility for the technology, strategy development, solution/service delivery, security, infrastructure and governance of the organisation. The incumbent will provide end-to-end project support including requirement definition, solutions analysis, testing and deliverables preparation.
• He/she must be proficient in managing IT project implementation, from developing project plans, keeping track on the projects progress to meet agreed schedules and delivering the project deliverables as planned.
• The incumbent will also have to work closely with various IT teams and business units within the Group, and vendors to ensure alignment of initiatives.
• Monitor the project progress and resolving occurred problems.

Experience & Qualifications

Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines.

At least 3-5 years of working IT experience, preferably in financial services industries, or start-up environment

Understanding of strategy planning, digital transformation, FinTech, RegTech, and other technologies etc.

Perform comprehensive assessments on systems including Cybersecurity, Cloud, Operating systems, Infrastructure, Network etc.

Knowledge in network products, e.g. firewall, router, switch, VMware / Virtualization technology

Those with good knowledge of MAS technology regulations and requirements are prioritized

Hands-on experiences on Windows server (AD, GPO, Powershell), VMWare , Linux

Holder of CCNA/CCNP, professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master will be advantageous

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
