Account Receivable Executive
Kantar's Finance Department is responsible for the financial aspects of the firm.
It records operating transactions, provides crucial financial and accounting information vital to make various decisions; and prepares financial documents that advise management and regulators about the firm's results and position.
The Finance team also assists to ensure that transactions recorded comply with the internal controls and policies of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Daily AR/billing/collections activities and monthend/quarterend close process, including preparation of AR, collections and cashflow reports, to achieve accuracy in accounts and meet deadlines.
- Prepare Journal entries for accruals, recharge billings and other adjustments.
- Vendor review/assessment and Creations
- Monthly foreign exchange revaluations to support month end close
- Uphold financial controls by covering bank reconciliations, AR/debtors reconciliations, and more.
- Engage with collaborators on receivables and collection matters, including resolving irregularities and assisting with external queries.
- Provide recommendations in streamlining AR reporting process and systems improvements.
- Assist with periodic financial closing activities and external audits, providing support to finance management where required including adhoc analysis or special projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy / LCCI or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant AR experience
- Good communications and social skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to optimally interact with stakeholders at all levels
