***: The Manager, reporting to Executive Director of ULI Singapore, will work in close coordination with national council members, administers all aspects of coordinating programs and developing marketing and communications strategies for membership involvement and sponsorship support toward the advancement of goals and objectives of the national council. The Manager will maintain a close working relationship with the Executive Director for local reporting and responsibilities. The Manager works directly with ULI members and vendors, especially the Executive Director, the ULI Singapore Chair, members of the ULI Asia Pac Executive Committee, and members of ULI Singapore committees.

Established in 1936, the Urban Land Institute is a not for profit education and research body with over 45,000 members across the globe, more than 3,000 in APAC.

The mission of ULI is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.


ULI Singapore has currently over 570 members from the private and public sectors representing all disciplines within the public and private real estate industry.

It is governed by an Executive Committee consisting of senior industry representatives, led by a Chair, who volunteer their time to deliver events and programming specific to Singapore.

ULI Singapore has the following committees, governing bodies and key programmes in place:

  • Women's Leadership Initiative that helps to raise the number and visibility of women leaders throughout ULI Singapore
  • A Young Leaders Committee that focuses on programming for younger professionals

  • Annual Conference: attracting 200 industry professionals from Singapore

Committee Management and Administrations

  • Manage the range of administrative activities required for ULI Singapore.
  • Support National Council Committee meetings including scheduling meetings, coordinating and distributing meeting papers, taking and distributing minutes and ensuring committee and attendee lists are accurately maintained.
  • Support leadership groups including Women's Leadership Initiatives (WLI), Young Leaders Group (YLG) and Product Council committees and meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for member/customer enquiries and manage the ULI Singapore mailboxes and general correspondence.
  • Manage the membership database and report membership status.
  • Update/input member details, as requested.
  • Support printing and delivery of any ULI related documents, as required.
  • In collaboration with ULI Asia Pacific, support preparation and analysis of membership reporting.
Marketing and Communications

  • Manage the Singapore website content adding events, updating corporate members, and ensuring all information is up to date.
  • Manage the process of event marketing and communication of events including:
  • Eblasts for all ULI Singapore events
  • Postevent Communications online, social media and website
  • Manage Singapore social media channels. In collaboration with ULI Asia Pacific, support preparation and analysis of social media engagement reporting.
Event Management

  • Oversee and manage all events marketing, logistics, registrations in Singapore.
  • Database management, ensure all event data is entered to system backend.
  • In collaboration with ULI Asia Pacific, support preparation and analysis of event reporting.
Financial

  • Support the Executive Director in budget planning process.
  • Maintain a good record of invoices, expenses, finance related documents for ULI Singapore.
  • Create invoices in ULI system for sponsorships and events. Keep track on payment status of the invoices and follow up outstanding payments.
  • Work closely with Asia Pacific team on payment arrangements for local vendors.

Qualification:


  • 5 years or above related work experience in business administrations, event management, project management, customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Diploma or above qualification is required, preferably major in business & administration, however consideration will be given to, urban planning, real estate development or similar.
  • Selfmotivated and highly organized, demonstrating meticulous attention to both details and deadlines. Ability to work under multitasking environment and in a small team.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Able to identify trends and give insights / recommendations for action
  • Good knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
