About the Department:

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.


We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world.

We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.


Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.


Responsibilities:


  • The Security Engineer will support the day to day operations and development of the bank security suite of products with key objective in designing, developing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing the Bank's infrastructure security capabilities specifically for Privileged ID Management (PIM)
  • The scope of infrastructure will be the Windows, UNIX/LINUX based systems and cloud/container based platforms but may include other platforms as part of the evolution of the Group Information Security (GIS) service portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product lifecycle management for the Bank's Privileged ID Management platforms which includes ideation, solution selection, implementation, engineering, production support and service management
  • Provide technical expertise and assess the security access control requirements for platforms as part of production onboarding
  • Troubleshoot access and privilege ID issues with proper escalation management as and when needed
  • Responsible for privileged ID and Access Management, including configuration of safes and platforms as well as onboarding of privileged accounts
  • Conduct regression testing on new security configuration rules, use cases and enhancements with regards to Privileged ID Management
  • Manage and coordinate change process engagement with regards to Infrastructure Security Engineering services
  • Automation development on existing processes and develop contextual data sets, reports and dashboards to provide management and service insights
  • Provide support for all Audit and Regulatory requests.

Others:

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of internal teams and third party service providers/vendors for the delivery of Infrastructure Security Engineering services
  • Capable of managing a variety of priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt driven environment with mínimal guidance or supervision.
  • Work with internal technical teams and engineers in technical troubleshooting and forums.
  • Available to respond to any requests and assist with troubleshooting activities along with proper documentation.
  • Resolve standard/routine issues with no guidance and complex/unusual issues with mínimal guidance.

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution
Technical Skills

  • Overall experience 6 to 10 years of experience
  • Knowledgeable with open systems (eg. Windows, Unix, Linux), networking technologies (routers/firewalls) from a systems administration experience
  • Ability to document security standards, access control baselines and processes)
  • Experience in software configuration management tools (Chef) and log monitoring tools (Splunk) is value add but not essential
  • Knowledgeable with cloud technologies (eg. AWS, Azure, M365, GCP)
  • Analytical problem solver and good at troubleshooting technical issues
