Laboratory Technician

The primary role of Laboratory Technician is to support supply chain projects, and business contingency projects in ENIC.

Your Role

Support supply chain projects, and business contingency projects; duties include planning and execution of lab trials

Responsible for managing inventory and keeping sufficient stock of raw materials, ingredients, lab consumables and packaging materials across the natural center

Ensure lab equipment are calibrated, maintained and in operational status

Maintain lab equipment including liaison with suppliers and internal departments for repair and servicing

Assist team in preparation of sensory validations, and general lab work

Assist with disposal of waste materials, chemicals and raw materials safely according to internal EHS guidelines

Assist with collection of parcels, packing & arrangement of samples for despatch

Assist in basic testing of products, e.g. pH, brix etc

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager

About You

Diploma in Food Technology/Science, Applied Science, Chemistry or its equivalent

0 to 2 years of experience will be preferred

Be a safety advocate for yourself and the team

Prior knowledge and handling of chemicals will be advantageous

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites especially Excel

Good communication skills

Meticulous and detailed-oriented

Other Information

1 year contract

Full benefits with completion bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Company transport provided from Jurong East MRT and Clementi MRT
