**Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a New Chinese RestaurantOur client, a soon-to-be-launched Chinese restaurant situated in the bustling heart of Singapore, is dedicated to delivering an authentic and sophisticated Chinese dining experience.
As they prepare for their grand opening, they are in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who possesses a deep understanding of Chinese culture and substantial executive experience within major corporations in Mainland China.
**Role Overview: The COO will be responsible for leading the restaurant's operations, aligning strategic business objectives with operational activities, and ensuring the establishment not only achieves but exceeds its performance goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the restaurant.
- Drive the establishment of performance and growth objectives, developing strategic business plans that align with the restaurant's vision.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and community leaders in Singapore.
- Oversee contract negotiations and vendor management.
- Uphold exceptional standards of food quality and customer service to drive restaurant performance.
- Innovate and implement effective solutions to enhance business operations. Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and learning.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a COO or a similar executive role, preferably within large corporations in Mainland China, with a preference for those experienced in the hospitality / service sector.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Comprehensive understanding of Chinese culture.
