Roles & Responsibilities

The Client:

Our client is an Automotive Manufacturing MNC that specialises in heavy-duty vehicles for various industries and also an aftermarket services provider globally.

Job Scope:

As part of the Supply Chain team, the individual will manage inventory levels and ensure that parts are adequately stocked in the organisation's distribution centres regionally. This role involves analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and managing inventory cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate demand forecasts for spare parts based on historical data, market trends, and input from stakeholders.
• Manage the inventory control in the region's distribution centres.
• Determine optimal inventory levels for spare parts to balance service levels with inventory costs.
• Conduct demand analysis, generate reports, and monitor KPI performance, ensuring clear presentation of analysis results.
• Place orders with suppliers and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in spare parts management and demand forecasting.

A Successful Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in logistics and spare parts inventory management is a plus.
• Experience in demand forecasting is a plus.
• More than 5 years of experience in the Automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing is highly advantageous.
