    Backend Developer
    Job Description / Requirements / Skills:

  • Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in the administration, design, implementation, testing, and support of business solutions based on API Connect (APIC) and DataPower technology.
  • Experience in setting up new IBM APIC and DataPower platform environment.
  • Experience in patching and upgrading of IBM APIC and DataPower versions.
  • Good knowledge of API management lifecycle.
  • Hands-on expertise in configuring and creating components of DataPower appliances such as Web Service Proxy, Multi-protocol Gateway.
  • Good understanding of Swagger JSON definitions for API development and publishing.
  • Experience in implementing API security (e.g. API keys, Ldap Basic Auth, OAuth).
  • Experience in REST and SOAP API development.
  • Experience in SSL implementation, certificate management, and renewal.
  • Good to have some experience in Cloud or container technology like OpenShift, Kubernetes.
  • Good problem solving, analytical, written, and communication skills.​​​​
