    Description

    Key responsibilities:

    • Maintain full set of accounts ensuring completeness and accuracy of records for stand-alone entities and Group consolidated results.
    • Perform day-to-day finance operations, which include recording financial transactions in the ledger, account reconciliations and payment processing.
    • Timely preparation and delivery of all financial and management reports for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to Senior Management, Shareholders and Regulators.
    • Provide in-depth analysis of business performance against budget.
    • Ensure timely completion of annual audit, tax submissions and other regulatory reporting.
    • Plan, organise and prepare Group consolidated budget, business plan and forecast.
    • Prepare presentation materials for Board and Board Sub-committee meetings.
    • Provide accurate and timely finance support to the third-party business venture, which includes maintaining full set of accounts and all financial and management reports for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to Senior Management, Shareholders and Regulators.
    • Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects in support of department or Company's initiatives.

    Knowledge/ Experience Required:

    • Degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
    • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial or management reporting with good track record of strong delivery.
    • Good working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), accounting principles and tax rules.
    • Good understanding of service company operations, transfer pricing and cost allocation processes.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to generate insightful financial data and reports.
    • Strong Powerpoint presentation skills, data visualization skills and knowledge of simple financial modelling will be advantageous.
    • Possess a strong control mindset, with ability to identify key finance risks and mitigating controls, combined with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
    • Good appreciation of operational and reporting risks for finance processes and functions
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
    • Good team player with ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Possess a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to automate or streamline processes to improve efficiency.
