    Roles & Responsibilities

    Singapore F&B Group

    Position: Sous Chef (Japanese Food)

    Salary: $3200 - $4000

    · Assisting in the preparation of cooked food items and sauces, as well as mise en place for seafood from Japan.

    · Handle all back kitchen work.

    · Working closely with the second chef in contributing towards the delivery of quality food to all guests at a consistent level while demonstrating an understanding of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen to set a good example for all junior chefs in the kitchen.

    · The top priority is to ensure that all good production is achieved on a satisfactory level or beyond the service standards.

    · Assist in ensuring all chefs of the team are in line with restaurant's risk aversion program.

    Requirement

    · 3 years relevant experience in the area of Japanese Restaurant

    · Able to maintain high standard of food quality.

    · Take full responsibility for food menu development.

    · Capable to support every team in the kitchen such as Tempura session and Sushi session.
