Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

Provide L2 and L3 support on managed solutions provided to customers.
Develop and improve instrumentations to monitor the health and availability of managed solutions.
Automate repetitive systems monitoring tasks.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth operations of all services.
Coordinate with and manage external vendors for support.
Responsible for the quality, reliability and availability of the managed solutions infrastructure.
Assist in any adhoc tasks when necessary.

Job Requirements**:

Degree/Diploma in Computer, Engineering or related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
Working knowledge of Menlo, Imperva and Trellix (Fireeye) will be an advantage.
Good technical knowledge in analyzing, troubleshooting, diagnostics & problem solving skills.
Good knowledge in security controls and their integration and implementation with IT components and operations.
Experience of security auditing, best practice and compliance using disciplines such as ITIL, ISO27001, etc will be an advantage.
Certification that support the above experience and skills would be added advantage Eg MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, ITSM, CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.
Resourceful, take initiatives and ownership at work, and ability to work without supervision, taking personal responsibilities and accountability.
