Description

Quality Engineer shall be responsible for the following:
a. Involve in understanding the requirements from multiple internal and external stakeholders' groups and work with the development team throughout development to define and improve the build system quality

b. Review stories or requirement specs and non-functional requirements to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous and verifiable. i.e. verify that Definition of Done is able to meet every released feature

c. Discuss, analyse and recommend design improvements or corrections to developers throughout the development process

d. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and project team to identify needs and requirements for estimation of testing scope and time frame

e. Develop testing strategy, inclusive of regulatory compliance, create and maintain test plans, identifying test tools, regression test approach, maintenance of test cases and test coverage in accordance with changing requirements, throughout development

f. Create and manage automated test framework whenever possible such as prepare test environment, maintain functional testing script in accordance with changing requirements

g. Conduct Solution integration tests with external parties, validate the output and expected outcome e.g. data to and from external parties' systems and feedback on improvement requirement

h. Conduct extensive manual functional /exploratory testing, including browser testing

i. Conduct performance and load tests, validate the output and expected outcomes and feedback on improvement required to ensure we have a robust system in place

k. Conduct impact analysis of defect fixes discovered during manual or automated tests, validate completed stories pass the acceptance criteria, raising defects as needed and work with development team to improve the expected behaviour and test cases

l. Involve in desk check together with the developer to assess if the Solution meets the acceptance criteria before check in

m. Support stakeholders in user acceptance test and track the reported issues to closure

n. Champion quality practices and provide continuous feedback on any quality issues to the development team throughout the development life cycle

o. Basic understanding of the CI/CD pipeline
