Vice President, Rates Trader APAC (Singapore)

What is the opportunity?

As the Vice President, Rates Trader APAC, you will be responsible for pricing and trading US IR options, US IRS, UST and CAD Governments trading.

What will you do?

Lead the effort, the region, from a Trading perspective to continually develop the regional US Treasuries, CAD Governments and swaps platform.
Develop the abovementioned business through client interaction and working with Sales staff to generate trade ideas.
To help drive USD and CAD Rates trading capacity into the region.
To establish good relationships with our counterparties and keep management abreast of any significant market trends and developments.
Aid the generation of marketing and trade ideas for global use.
Maximise and optimise internally generated flow.
To contribute to the regional rates business yearly budget (Income, RWA, ROE).

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Degree or equivalent is required
The role would typically require 3 years or above of relevant experience and a strong background in pricing and risk managing USD and CAD interest rates products
SG Regulatory papers
US & Canadian Licenses
Ambition & drive are essential to grow the business, and communication at all levels is a key requirement
Strong written and oral communication skills
Team player, selfmotivated and strong interpersonal skills
