Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Testing and commissioning network equipment for production environment
Designing, configuring, and reviewing network configurations with the contractors
Performing full DR swing tests on the system and network when required
Configuring and managing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
Designing and segregating voice and data Vlans integrated into the backend system
Configuring the network monitoring system and setting up alerts for equipment downtime
Setting up and integrating networks for front-end devices to communicate with backend systems
Supporting and troubleshooting network issues during implementation and daily operation
Configuring network security hardening based on requirements
Tracking and resolving network-related incidents and requests within SLA
Preparing documentation on Network Architecture Design
Maintaining IP address listings for production and non-production environments

Required Qualifications:

Recognized degree or diploma in Information Technology or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in system & network administration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Interest and motivation in installing, configuring, and maintaining system/network services and equipment
Competence in network protocols, WLAN, switches, routers, servers, and firewalls
Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration
Proficiency in administering network security systems and protocols
Experience in network devices hardening and performance monitoring
Good communication skills and ability to work under tight schedules with minimal supervision
