    Description

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    · Support the implementation and optimization of the catalogue ́s master data management processes, tools, and systems.

    · Assist in the development and documentation of data management policies, procedures, and best practices.

    · Design and maintain data models, hierarchies, and taxonomies to support effective data management and reporting.

    · Lead data cleansing and enrichment initiatives to identify and correct data inaccuracies, duplicates, and inconsistencies.

    · Assist in the creation and maintenance of data records in accordance with established standards and procedures.

    · Review and validate incoming data requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data governance policies.

    · Conduct data quality checks and audits to identify and correct data inaccuracies, duplicates, and inconsistencies.

    · Establish and maintain data quality metrics and KPIs to monitor the health of master data and identify areas for improvement.

    · Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand data requirements and define data standards and governance processes.

    · Work closely with IT teams to configure and maintain master data management systems and tools.

    · Establish and enforce the catalogue ́s standards and best practices across the organization.

    · Provide training and support to end-users on new processes, tools, and systems to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

    · Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the master data to identify emerging issues, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

    · Serve as a subject matter expert on data management best practices, trends, and technologies.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and business processes.

    · Generate reports and analyze data quality metrics to monitor the health of master data and identify areas for improvement.

    · Other tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

    Qualification RequirementsEducation

    · A minimum of a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, information management, business administration, or other relevant educational background.

    · Sufficient relevant experience may replace educational requirements.

    · LEAN or SIX SIGMA will be an advantage.

    Experience

    · Ideally a minimum of 5 year of Master Data Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related activities for major industrial projects.

    · Proven experience in data management, data entry, or related role.

    · Experience with master data management tools and technologies.

    · International and multi-cultural experience will be preferred.

    · IFS experience will be preferred.

    Interpersonal Skills

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    · Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

    · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    · Proficiency in data modelling, data quality assessment, and data cleansing techniques.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and other business process management tools.

    · General business understanding and ability to think strategically.

    · Interest to help, guide and teach others.

    Knowledge

    · Good knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and contracting functions.

    · Good understanding of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.

    · Good understanding of project management of major industrial projects.

    · Knowledge of master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices is a plus.

    · Basic understanding of technical aspects of offshore projects in general and FPSO projects in particular.

    · Fluent in English (oral and written).

    · Any proficiency in Portuguese or French is a plus.

    Other

    · The position may require travel to other main company locations and project sites.

    · The individual will need to be flexible and resilient to be successful.
