IT Engineer - Singapore - ASMPT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

Description

The primary purpose of the position of IT Engineer is to analyze, test, and maintain the ASMPT's Engineering Systems and Application to ensure they effectively support and contribute to the overall mission and objectives of the organization.

By analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and providing timely support & solutions, this role helps improve ASMPT's efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. Their work, through the provision of crucial technical support, ensures that ASMPT better meets customer needs and achieves strategic goals, thus playing a crucial role in fulfilling ASMPT's overall mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Management of Engineering Systems, such as Teamcenter PLM, Solid Edge and other tools utilized within the company.
• Preparation of training documentations for systems/functionalities deployed.
• Testing and evaluation of applications or software updates.
• Deployment of software or application updates.
• Preparation and testing of scripts for software distribution.
• Collect and analyze user requirements for new systems or system enhancements.
• Maintaining open communication with stakeholders and reporting progress and issues to relevant parties.
• Providing assistance to end-users who encounter issues or require guidance in using the system.
• Identifying and diagnosing system issues, errors, and malfunctions reported by users or detected through monitoring.
• Coordinating and implementing solutions to address system issues, including bug fixes, patches, or configuration changes.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Edge or others.
• Basic knowledge in programming languages such as C# or others, depending on the job requirements.
• Basic PLM skills will be an added advantage.
