    Roles & Responsibilities

    Senior / Laboratory Assistant

    Working Hours: 5days (Mon-Fri), 8 am to 4.30 pm.
    Work location: Jurong Island (Transport provided at Jurong East)
    Salary : 1,900 to $3,200 + Site allowance

    The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, samples, and quality inspections as assigned by the Supervisor.
    They should possess knowledge of equipment operating procedures, quality control procedures, and be skilled in using laboratory equipment.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
    • Advanced maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of allocated laboratory equipment
    • Managing chemicals and consumables inventory, preparing and standardizing chemical reagents, and overseeing waste management
    • Keeping quality records, developing quality procedures, and training junior laboratory or chemical technicians
    • Calibrating equipment and contributing to risk assessment, Quality Procedures, and Decision-making on quality & maintenance
    • Procurement of materials, budget controls, and implementing QA & Safety Activities

    Requirement:

    • 1 - 2 years or more than 5 years' experience in Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing

    The candidates are encouraged to demonstrate proficiency in the following skills: Troubleshooting, Quality Control, Risk Assessment, Inventory Management, Consumables Tracking, Procurement Procedures, Equipment Maintenance, Waste Handling, Decision Making, Laboratory Operations, Calibration Techniques, and Wet Chemistry
