    Learning Objectives:

    Data Governance & Responsible Model Use Governance

    • Participate in bank wide data related forums / project meetings.
    • Assist reporting manager in tracking the deliverables and provide regular updates, particularly on required action items for proper follow up by relevant parties.
    • Complete data quality profile reporting.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Learn to communicate well with stakeholders within Group OCBC and its overseas subsidiaries.
    • Influence outcome or discussion with persuasive articulation of analysis backed by data and facts.

    Emerging Technology

    • Hands-on experience with data management tool and software

    Job Description:

    • Work as part of GDMO and stakeholders (e.g., Risk, IT, Business, Ops) to embed operational processes to entrench data standards and controls to support policy objectives.
    • Measure and report the effectiveness of data quality using qualitative or quantitative metrics. Review results of the DQ scorecards, identify owners, prioritise gaps and track status to drive the closure of these gaps.
    • Work internally with stakeholders and GDMO to identify opportunities for enhancements in data management capabilities, and work with relevant stakeholders to address operational or data issues in the data pipeline.
    • Work with the Lead for Responsible Use of AI to conduct the data assessment used to assess the model performance as part of model validation under Responsible Model Use policy.
    • Support the secretariat of bank-wide data and responsible model use related forums/committee.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently within a team environment and prioritise/manage multiple tasks, with good problem-solving skills.
    • Comfortable using the suite of Microsoft Office tools.
