Roles & Responsibilities

Smart IMS Inc provides Digital technology & Cloud transformation services, Application & Infrastructure Management Services, Unified Communications, and Insurance implementation services to customers across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions. We are looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer in Singapore to support our client, a statutory board, with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

To gather and study the business requirement and analyse the requirement to provide IT solution to meet the demands of the user requirements
Quick to adapt to domain skills and perform technical adjustments to achieve results
Good in documentation of requirements, algorithm, design, and parameters
Design application to process the source data based on billing engine logic and provide solution outcome as per business requirement
Build the DB design and schema and well versed in Oracle SQL scripts and SQL query.

Requirements:

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
Minimum 2-4 years working experience, preferably in a corporate environment on a large-scale Java applications, with a focus in these areas:

Business Requirement analysis
Software application Design
Application development on Angular and Springboot

Technical proficiency in Java, Springboot, Angular, Database SQL is required
Understanding on fundamentals of multidimensional database design, relational database design
Scripting experience in SQL scripts / Bash scripts will be an advantage
Experience in Test driven development and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline will be an advantage
Experience in Oracle ExaCC database would be preferred
A team player and able to work effectively at different levels in an organization, with peers of local and overseas IT as well and business departments.
