    Roles & Responsibilities

    General summary:

    We are currently seeking a dedicated Program Executive/Social Work Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Satellite Visit Centre (SVC) program planning, implementation, and administrative support. Your duties will include ensuring the seamless execution of tele-conferencing sessions in accordance with guidelines provided by the Singapore Prison Service and Woodlands Social Centre (WSC). The SVC serves as a vital link for communication between incarcerated individuals and their families, with Woodlands Social Centre being among the pioneering SVCs in Singapore's northern region, providing convenient and accessible visitation opportunities.

    Additionally, you will be involved in casework management, which includes conducting intake and case assessments, planning interventions, and coordinating services with professionals and community resources to ensure effective follow-up.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Program Planning and Implementation:

    • Assist in program development and special projects.
    • Coordinate and execute program activities.
    • Provide support to program participants.
    • Involved in volunteer management and development.

    2. Assessment and Support:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments.
    • Deliver support and intervention services.

    3. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate program documentation.
    • Prepare reports for management and stakeholders.

    4. Collaboration and Partnership:

    • Collaborate with internal team and external partners to ensure smooth program delivery.

    5. Intake and Casework Management:

    • Handle enquiries and conduct assessments.
    • Perform social work assessment and intervention.
    • Coordinate with professionals and community resources.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation.

    Job Requirements:

    • Able to work on Saturdays.
    • Degree/Diploma in any related field.
    • Relevant experience in the social service sector.
    • Strong program implementation skills.
    • Experience in working with children and families.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external partners.
    • Knowledge of social work principles and practices is beneficial.
    • Proficiency in program documentation and reporting.
