    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Reporting to the HR Director, the role covers HR partnering, manpower planning and budgeting, payroll and benefits and other HR programs that support the goals of the organisation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Involve with the recruitment process which includes identifying staffing needs, developing job descriptions, and conducting interviews, and making offers.
    • Recommend HR strategies that competitively position SAL as an employer of choice.
    • Responsible for workforce planning, determine current and forecast future workforce gaps and develop strategies to close them.
    • Manage the day-to-day HR operations of the organisation.
    • Provide expert advice to management and business units on HR related matters.
    • Manage the manpower budget during budget planning cycle.
    • Handle payroll and claims administration, ensure timely payroll payments & reports on a monthly basis.
    • Review HR policies and strategies including strategic manpower planning, recruitment, performance management and other projects as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with supervisory skills.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
    • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in compensation design.
    • Strong analytical and numerate skills with an eye for detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism.
