DORS , the retail showcase located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally-based designer brands in Singapore.

TCS , offers creative co-working and event space housed on level 2 and rooftop of Design Orchard

Career Opportunity / Role Overview:

The Retail Supervisor is a key member of Singapore Fashion Council's Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) and the face to our customers.

Knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, you will provide a unique experience that embodies our Brand DNA.

As this role is in a service environment, you should be someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills with a great and welcoming personality, able to inspire, lead and develop the team to deliver a seamless customer experience to make every visit to DORS unforgettable.

Manage the daytoday operations of the store
Supervise and/or perform cashiering duties (such as handling the pointofsale and NETS systems)
Manage and/or perform housekeeping duties to keep the store clean and tidy
Manage stock levels and assist the store manager in making decisions with regards to stock control
Handle customer service feedbacks
Ensure high levels of customer's satisfaction through excellent service
Ensure that safety, security, and administration procedures are followed
Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives
Meet sales goals by motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to retail staff and store manager
Train, mentor, coach and develop new fulltime retail employees, including brand and product familiarization, in addition to the operational systems
Assist with any other duties and tasks as assigned by our Store Manager

Pre-requisites:

Have experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar
Selfmotivated and a good communicator with leadership experience
Possess exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
Have a positive, cheerful demeanor, and be a team player
Passionate about, and supportive of, local fashion brands, products, and stories
Enthusiastic about speaking, storytelling, and recommending said products
Good product knowledge of the products in the store and be clear with the ongoing promotions in the store
