Purpose

:


A Senior Consultant is assigned to project teams to provide strategic, unbiased and objective advisory services to clients to assist them in solving issues, creating value, maximising growth and improving business performance.
He/she will also be responsible for contributing to and working on internal projects focused on the "Advisian way".
This position will typically be the lead person directing all process design activity for a project.

This role includes responsibilities on sales pursuits, proposals, feasibility studies, Pre-FEED, and other consultancy services for cryogenic and Low Carbon Fuels (LCF) initiatives including ammonia, hydrogen, LNG, floating technologies such as FLNG and FSRU, gas treating, dehydration, NGL recovery, refrigeration systems (single, multi-component/ mixed) for LNG liquefaction, re-gasification, storage and loading terminal projects. This position may be assigned responsibility for single or multiple projects at various stages of development and will report to LCF team lead while working closely with the stakeholder above.

This position will be responsible for developing, managing and delivering the overall process design for above-mentioned technologies, developing and selecting concepts, flow scheme configurations considering licensor technology, cost, efficiency, safety, reliability, maintainability, and more. Responsibilities include executing, developing and/or leading other engineers to develop heat and material balances using process simulation software, preparing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), producing hydraulic calculations, equipment and instrument data sheets, preparing process descriptions and performance test procedures. Working with licensors and selecting licensor technology is required. Duties will also typically include participation in project, risk, process, constructability, commissioning, start-up, HAZID / HAZOP and other safety processes.

Key Objectives and Accountabilities

:


  • Adheres to and leads company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), Quality and Sustainability policies. Ensures HSE is emphasized throughout all process design activities and participates in the development of a safe and healthy workplace
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, and when assigned, take the lead to deliver on key responsibilities under tight deadlines and in multidisciplinary project environments
  • Carry out research and data collection to fulfill project and client and/or team requirements
  • Liaise with and provide consulting to client's employees, management team and other stakeholders
  • Prepare documents and project deliverables including study reports, presentations, contractual letters, project plans, estimates, etc.
  • Perform data/risk/business/financial analysis and integrate large volumes of data from various sources to create reports
  • Participate and contribute to client meetings
  • Identify issues with guidance and participate in making recommendations to clients
  • Produce plans and budgets relating to assignment
  • Plan and manage time, schedule, cost, quality and other project metrics for a satisfactory acceptance of deliverables by stakeholders specially the clients
