Description

**Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Equipment Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the evaluation of the company's various vendors' quotations, conducting the required technical clarifications to ensure that the design meets the necessary requirements/specifications
Responsible for reviewing/maintaining the company's vendors documentation (eg. drawings, calculations etc.)
Responsible for ensuring the compliance of the required mechanical design with the various international/local code requirements, as well as the customer's specification
Responsible for the preparation of the various equipment (eg. pressure vessel, heat exchange etc.)
Responsible for the preparation of the various technical calculations/documents (eg. design calculations, specification sheets etc.)
Responsible for identifying technical risks in the mechanical scope and design, proposing solutions to mitigate and lower the various risks involved
Responsible for maintaining/completing the various project documents
In charge of attending the necessary inspections according to the ITP of the various mechanical equipment
In charge of overseeing/reviewing the various NDT conducted, handling the subsequent reports/documents as well
In charge of preparing the necessary procedures for the mechanical equipment tests (eg. FAT, SAT etc.), handling the subsequent reports/documents as well
In charge of going onsite to verify the various specifications/conditions, as well as to assist the site installation when required
In charge of supporting the plant commissioning, as well as the startup and troubleshooting of the various mechanical equipment, providing technical advice and solutions when required alongside the various 3rd party stakeholders
All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field of studies
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
Experienced/Knowledgeable in design/fabrication of pressure vessels (ASME Certification)
