    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Report directly to the Head of Bus Safety, you will be tasked with collating and managing traffic safety data.
    • Utilize data analytics tools such as Power BI to analyze traffic safety performance and trends, identifying areas of weakness and predicting likely outcomes for prompt action.
    • Prepare traffic safety statistics for both internal and external presentations, sharing analysis and insights effectively.
    • Introduce and manage IT-related systems and processes within the department to streamline operations.
    • Interpret and analyze safety data to recommend appropriate actions and maintain accurate documentation with timely updates.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement measures aimed at improving safety results.
    • Ensure the timely submission of periodic safety performance reports both internally and externally.
    • Review, identify, and implement safety-related systems and process improvements to minimize gaps.
    • Provide system administration support for IT-related systems within the department.
    • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
    • More than 3 years of experience in data analytics, with exposure to traffic safety data being an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with IT-related systems and processes.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical ability and presentation skills.
    • Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven ability to interact and build relationships with authorities and stakeholders, especially the Traffic Police, Land Transport Authority, and other relevant bodies.
    • Sociable and capable of interacting easily with staff from all levels.
