Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, install and configure Windows servers
  • Proactively manage and maintain the Wintel environment
  • Administer and support core Microsoft, Citrix and VMware technologies
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
  • Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures
  • Provide afterhours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
  • Developing scripts to gain efficiencies for reporting and automating repetitive tasks
  • Advanced level of Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and High Availability.
  • Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware vCenter, setting up vMotion, HA, DRS, and related VMware products such as VM vRealize Operation Manager (vROps), Update manager and other products for virtualization
  • Providing configuration management and security compliance for the virtual infrastructure software and hardware
  • Group Policy design and configuration
  • Positive, selfmotivated individual who can complete tasks independently
  • Must be a team player
