Roles & Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

Management of Goods Procurement

• Regularly review cost-cutting opportunities and ensure prices for goods align with relevant market rates, efficiently sourced, and procured in a manner that creates the best value for the business.
• Lead accurate demand forecasts with sales and marketing by effectively monitoring and communicating forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply situations, business risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.
• Identify and analyze sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate the analysis into forecasting and inventory planning.

Strategic Sourcing

• Build effective relationships with key suppliers for all food/beverage raw materials, ingredients & packaging to meet business demands.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic initiatives that enable the business to achieve its growth and profitability objectives.

Policies, SOPs, Business Systems

• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure procurement management aligns with corporate standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Import/Export regulations and ensure compliance with the regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business or another relevant field of study
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, preferably in meat and cheese sourcing/purchasing.
• Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with a strong motivation to deliver cost savings.
• Strong leadership skills to manage suppliers with good decision-making and multitasking abilities.
• Strong business acumen, an open-minded approach, and the ability to effectively manage relationships throughout the organization, along with supplier relationship management skills.
