As a Sales Manager for our division specializing in unmanned maritime systems, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base across defense, public safety & security, and commercial segments.
You will report to the Division Manager, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business development initiatives and establish strong customer relationships.
Your success will be measured primarily by revenue performance, new lead generation, and the acquisition of new accounts.Responsibilities:
- Revenue Performance:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Identify key market segments and opportunities for unmanned maritime systems, aligning them with organizational objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), taking proactive measures to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Lead Generation and Account Creation:
- Proactively identify and pursue new leads and business opportunities in the defense, public safety & security, and commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by leveraging industry networks, attending relevant conferences and events, and utilizing digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, pain points, and purchasing behaviors.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, promotions, and sales collateral to support lead generation efforts.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with respective department managers to achieve individual and team targets.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance sales culture, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales and revenue generation, ideally in the unmanned maritime systems or related industry.
- Strong experience in lead generation, account creation, and building a robust sales pipeline.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, fostering a collaborative and resultsdriven environment.
- Excellent market research and analysis abilities, staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Customercentric mindset with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships.
- Selfmotivated and goaloriented, with a strong drive for exceeding targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
