Responsibilities:

Assist in Managing and monitoring the service team and act in the absence of the Manager. Ensure all site services to be cost effective, meet deadlines, quality standards and client expectation.

Liaise with customer's reprecentatitive on site and plan all the service member as per their competency suitable for the service scope.

Manage, Lead, Train the service member on any assign service activities.

Manage Site Service Activities

  • Responsible in implementing the planned schedule and directing the activities of the technical service staff.
  • Provide update on a threemonth lookahead schedule and ensure inputs are accurate at all times.
  • Assist on the estimation of the required resources and employees needed to achieve service goals.
  • Manage the daytoday operational of assign sites and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale service scope.
  • Oversee team working on client engagements to ensure they are within Company's processes and practices.
  • Assist in reviewing processes and service quality in accordance to Company's methodology, to ensure profitable and successful execution of commissioning services as yearly target and customer feedback satisfaction goals.
  • Minimize expenditure and risk on the assigned services scope and mitigate risk in all commissioning assignment.
  • Participate in team and key client meetings with the sales / project teams.
  • Ensure timely submission of duly signed service reports and mentor service members on strtegic service report writing.
Leadership

  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the service team.
  • Develop best practices and tools for service execution and site planning.
  • Actively participate in all programs relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.
  • Mentor team members through formal and informal channels.
  • Assess training needs and select training programs and development tools for team members.
  • Assist in managing the development of the team's skills, tools and resources by ensuring that commissioning tasks are in line with the overall schedule.
  • Assist and support Assembly Department whenever necessary to mitigate completion plan.

Requirements:


  • Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
years of service management experience.

  • 5 years of experience in marine, shipyard, petrochemical, power plant, oil & gas or other harsh industries.
  • Able to manage a team of service engineers to meet various project schedule, costing, customer expectation etc.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skill; coordinate with interdepartment head, customer as well as supplier to achieve company goals.
  • Challenges members to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities.
  • Pursues excellence in all aspects of business.
  • Service oriented with analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Builds expert knowledge in the team.
  • Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.
  • Certified Management Training would be an advantage.
  • Site experience offshore and/or onshore.
  • Good Knowledge on two or more of the following: telecommunication/ fire and gas detection and public announcement systems, navigation systems, LAN system.
