**Job Description & Requirements

Establishing the sustainable winning product roadmap with Asia Pacific regional-fitconcepts and new product opportunities through agile market trend sensing and in-depth customer research.


  • Predicting changes of market & competitors and establishing product strategy direction to preemptively lead market changes in Asia Pacific region through continuous and agile trend sensing
  • Discovering insights that can innovate customer's life and experience through indepth research on customers' perceptions, behaviors, and unmet needs across food, clothing and shelter
  • Materializing regional insights into product concepts and quantifying as business performance to build a consensus with the headquarter and reflect on the global platform roadmap
  • Establishing a regionalfit PRM strategy based on local insights and spreading it out to the Asia countries to support the clarification of winning PRM
  • Strengthening a communication and coordination system between the region and headquarter, R&D, and production sites to support the rapid realization of regional insights and contribution to business
  • Discovering opportunities from a local perspective on new business and appliances for securing sustainable business growth
  • Defining the common denominator of the Asia region through a comparative study of market & culture by country to establish guidelines for the future direction of regional platforms

Education level and/or relevant experience(s):


  • Bachelor's degree (Master degree preferred)
  • More than 10 years of experience in product planning relevant works

Knowledge, Skills, Requirements

  • Understanding of Home appliance industry, products and customers
  • Communication skills to lead and organize the stakeholders of various roles, positions and countries
  • Ability to design the optimal customer research method for the various situation and purpose
  • Ability to discover insights to find meanings and opportunities behind the revealed phenomena
  • Possess a methodology and experience to generate new concept ideas based on data and qualitative insights
  • Strategic decisionmaking skill to establish the optimal product strategy considering the entire value chain
  • Effective reporting skill includes data analysis and visualization
  • Fluent in Korean language to be able to communicate with the headquarters in Korea

Other requirements:


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient in DX tools (i.e. Python, Tableau, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in verbal and written English communication
  • A fast learner and a team player, who is able to work under pressure
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills
  • No issue on traveling to Asia countries : Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Korea
