Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with project teams to develop mechanical design solutions for civil and marine construction projects, including foundation systems, retaining walls, dams, ports, and marine structures.

· Conduct feasibility studies, perform calculations, and create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical systems and equipment.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical design and construction in civil and marine environments.

· Provide technical support during the construction phase, including reviewing contractor submittals, resolving design issues, and ensuring proper installation and integration of mechanical systems.

· Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of mechanical equipment, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to ensure optimal performance and safety.

· Assist in the selection, procurement, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and

· machinery required for civil and marine construction projects, such as pumps, generators, cranes, and dredging equipment.

· Evaluate equipment specifications, performance data, and vendor proposals to ensure compatibility with project requirements and specifications.

· Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation related to mechanical design, construction, and commissioning activities.

· Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, test reports, and equipment manuals, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

· Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering Field or Equivalent

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and AutoCAD

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Detail oriented with a proactive and problem solving mindset.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment

· At least 2 years of experience in marine or civil Construction
