Job description

  • You will implement all plans related to the development, upholding, communication and promotion of the MWS brand and our various initiatives which may extend from the corporate level through to our outreach programmes/centres, internal engagement, fundraising and volunteer management efforts. Your goal is to raise awareness of MWS and our cause, engage and build affinity with our stakeholders, and advocate for the people segments whom we serve.


  • Responsibilities

  • Researching, interviewing, writing or updating content, creating assets and marketing materials for brand building, fundraising and volunteer management initiatives/campaigns
  • Planning and executing promotional content on digital platforms (website, social media, online giving portal, partner platforms), setting up content calendars, managing updates, monitoring results and overall trends
  • Creating assets (eg. short reels, videos, digital banners) that will leverage digital and social media for publicity and communications
  • Supporting in the custodianship of all aspects of MWS' brand identity visual, verbal, associative to ensure compliance with established brand identity guidelines
  • Supporting MWS Centres to extend their reach in the community by writing or updating content and creating assets and marketing materials for Centre activities and programmes
  • Working closely with colleagues from across MWS to support the planning and execution of internal engagement initiatives
  • Initiating editorial ideas, develop angles, research, conduct interviews and write for publications
  • Any other duties assigned by the Senior Manager of Communications

Job Requirements

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 23 years' working experience in communications, public relations, journalism, editorial positions
  • Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Social Sciences
  • Familiar with digital marketing
  • Articulate, creative and competent writing skills in English
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
