Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications is a strategic role responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Armstrong Industries' suite of enterprise applications. This includes ERP, CRM, SCM, BI tools, and other critical business systems.

This role encompasses not only the stewardship of these applications but also the leadership of the development team responsible for customizing, enhancing, and integrating these systems to meet the business's dynamic needs.

Core Responsbilities

· Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications that aligns with the company's business goals and technological advancements. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new enterprise applications and systems.

· Application Management and Optimization: Oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of existing enterprise applications to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business. Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all enterprise applications.

· Development Team Leadership: Directly manage the in-house and outsourced developer teams tasked with developing, customizing, and integrating enterprise applications. Foster a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the development team, encouraging proactive identification and implementation of enhancements to business systems.

· Project Management and Implementation: Lead major projects for the implementation and integration of new applications, including system upgrades and migrations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, adhering to high-quality standards.

· Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the enterprise applications portfolio adequately supports business operations and growth. Act as a bridge between IT and the business, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.

· Vendor and Contract Management: Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure vendor performance and accountability in delivering products and services.

· Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to enterprise applications.Implement best practices in application management, security, and data integrity.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

· Extensive experience in managing enterprise applications within a complex organizational setting.

· Demonstrated expertise in leading development teams focused on enterprise application customization, enhancement, and integration.

· Deep understanding of ERP systems, CRM platforms, BI tools, and other critical business applications, including cloud-based solutions.

· Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in project management methodologies and practices.

· In-depth knowledge of business process optimization in relation to enterprise applications.

· Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile/Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
