    Roles & Responsibilities

    Position Overview:

    As a Crewing Executive (Offshore) you will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment, deployment, and welfare of offshore personnel for our fleet of vessels. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations, maintain crewing databases, and facilitate effective crewing operations. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic maritime environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Crew Recruitment and Deployment:Source, screen, and recruit qualified personnel for offshore positions, including but not limited to captains, engineers, and deckhands.
      Coordinate crew rotations, travel arrangements, and visa processing for deployments to offshore locations.
      Liaise with crewing agencies, training institutions, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements.
    2. Crew Management and Welfare:Maintain crew databases and records, including personal information, certifications, and medical records.
      Monitor crew performance, conduct appraisals, and address any disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
      Oversee crew welfare initiatives, including medical assistance, repatriation, and communication with families.
    3. Regulatory Compliance:Stay abreast of maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to crewing and personnel management.
      Ensure compliance with flag state regulations, international conventions, and industry-specific certifications (e.g., ISM, ISPS).
    4. Communication and Collaboration:Foster effective communication channels between shore-based management and offshore personnel.
      Collaborate with operations, technical, and HR departments to optimize crewing strategies and resolve operational challenges.
      Provide timely updates and reports on crewing activities, including crew turnover, training requirements, and budgetary considerations.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crewing operations within the maritime industry, preferably in offshore support services.
    • Familiarity with crew management software and databases (e.g., CrewConnect, SeafarerDocs).
    • Strong understanding of maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and industry standards.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
