Responsibilities:
  • Conducting safety briefings for new employees, contractors, vendors and visitors
  • Providing regular safety talks to each shift team
  • Supporting development and implementation of EHS policies
  • Promoting safety initiatives and enhancing safety culture in Singapore Operations
  • Performing risk assessments, job hazard analysis, and enforcing safe management measures
  • Conducting ongoing inspections to identify nonconformities and ensuring safety compliance
  • Coordinating audit-related matters and maintaining safety documentation
  • Facilitating monthly EHS Committee meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with new WSH regulations
  • Collecting data to support EHS or Sustainability reports/projects
  • Enhancing current EHS or Sustainability guidelines for SG Operations
  • Coordinating Permit to Work System for plant operations and contractor induction
  • Overseeing workplace repairs, installations, and safety of tools/equipment
  • Registering and investigating WSH incidents
  • Conducting safety briefings, trainings, drills, and emergency exercises
  • Arranging for workplace evaluations by external agencies/consultants
  • Other duties as assigned

Security Area:
  • Managing the proxy click system and visitor registrations
  • Collaborating with area owners to address disciplinary offences

Facility Area:
  • Coordinating with the landlord and contractors/vendors for local facilities maintenance
  • Conducting routine checks and supervising repairs/replacements
  • Working closely with area owners for facility maintenance

About You:
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of SHE management experience
  • Strong understanding of local legislations and SHE procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of hazardous materials and risk management
  • Experience in SHE policy, emergency preparedness, and performance analysis
  • Behavioral auditing skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
$5, $6,000 per month


Experience:
  • Safety health environment: 1 year (preferred)
  • Knowledge of local SHE laws, regulations, and standards: 1 year (preferred)
